[Argentina] Casimiro Bigua in El Calafate

After going through many shops along the main road in El Calafate and buying souvenirs, my mom and decided to look for a place where we could have lunch. We passed by Casimiro Bigua and it looked like a nice place to eat. However, we were initially hesitant because it was on the expensive side so we decided to look around a bit more. What we realized was that most of the other restaurants offered food at about the same price range. As such, we decided to head back to eat in Casimiro Bigua.

There weren't a lot of people eating there when we got in so I had a chance to go around and take photos.

I can't recall exactly what we ordered. All I remember is that I got some kind of meat dish and it was good.

My mom opted for the healthier fish option. It was pretty good too.

I was actually tempted to get the Cordero al Palo because this is apparently popular food in Patagonia but it was very expensive. By this time, we were on the tail-end of our trip so we had already spent a fortune so I decided against ordering this dish.

Overall, we had a a good dining experience in Casimiro Bigua. Just make sure you are ready to spend a little more when eating here (and a lot more if you wanna try the Cordero al Palo). Also, don't forget that they add a cubierto or cover charge to your bill which is about 12% of the total amount.
