Ted Neeley sings Gethsemane

I thought it would be appropriate to post this today as it is Holy Thursday. One of my favorite songs from a musical and quite possibly one of the most difficult to sing, Gethsemane is from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar and it portrays Jesus' anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane before being crucified. While many have performed this song extraordinarily well, in my opinion, Ted Neeley in his older years sings this song better and more emotionally and passionately than anyone else. (Ted also portrayed Jesus in the film but I think he got a lot better as he got older.) Check out this astounding, goosebump-inducing performance (Ted was already in his mid-50s here and he is still so on point and his range is just spectacular).
